The JEAN Node List component is used to display a set of nodes in a list format. It may form part of a main display, but more commonly occurs in popup dialogs. Examples of Node Lists in dialogs are to sort the children of a container node or to display the results of a search. If a node is selected on a list then its attributes may be displayed on an associated attribute panel , and a popup menu of operations is available by right-clicking, just as with the catalog
In some situations it is possible to sort nodes in a list by dragging and dropping, or to remove nodes from the list. It may also be possible to create a new container which has the nodes in the list as children.
