The JEAN Attribute Panel is used to display attribute values for the currently selected node. Attributes are organised into pages; each page is displayed by selecting a tab labelled with the name of a page. Values in the currently displayed page can be edited by choosing the appropriate editing operations from the menu for that catalog.
Some pages may be edited by right-clicking and obtaining the small edit popup menu, which has one or two entries. If the cursor is over the page background, or over a field which has been defined as read only then only one entry appears on the menu, Edit Page. If the cursor is over an editable field then the additional entry Edit Value appears. If one of these entries is selected then an edit dialog with either the single field or the whole page of fields is displayed. This facility is far less extensively used since version 1.1.
