During application-specific initialization ETV listeners can be applied to ETV events. When such a listener exists it is called before and after an ETV operation. The main purpose of these listeners is to firstly check if any necessary pre-conditions have been met; if this pre-check fails then the operation will not proceed.The post-operation call is to make modifications to the nodes involved in the operation.
