JEANcalendar stores appointments and anniversaries, cross-referencing JEANaddressBook where necessary. A reminder mechanism will notify you before events take place. The reminder mechanism can also be used to trigger events either directly or through another JEAN application. For example you can write an email using JEANmail and then use JEANcalendar to send it at an appropriate time, or you can set up some music in JEANmultimedia and arrange for it to start playing at a given time.
