New Months and Years

When JEANcalendar runs for the first time, a dialogue box will appear asking for the first day of the week. The default value for this is Monday. It will then create categories for the current year and month. The calendar is organised into days, weeks, months and years. Years, months and weeks are represented as categories. Days are represented as groups which have date and diary pages. The date page shows the date and is unchangeable The diary page contains a large text box which contains timestamped diary entries. These are created using the Make a diary entry option from the Calendar menu. Within a day group you can create any number of appointments which then appear as items within that group.

At any time you can create a new year or create a new month within an existing year by choosing the appropriate menu options.
