To create an anniversary, select the Anniversaries category and choose the Create new anniversary option from the menu. You will be asked to select the date of the anniversary, a name and, optionally, one or more people from the AddressBook. The date will be combined with the name to represent the anniversary as a group. If more than one anniversary falls on the same date, JEAN will suggest a new name which combines the names of the anniversaries but you can overwrite this.
The group has one page which lists the name or names of the anniversaries on that date and cross references those people involved.
Each anniversary group then has an item for each anniversary which is laid out like a normal appointment with appointment and attendees pages.
An anniversary will also generate an appointment in the diary for the appropriate date as long as it is no earlier than the current date. Whenever a new month or year is created, any anniversaries will generate appointments for the appropriate date automatically.
